German Wear Sizes / Size Table (in cm)

For all men's tops, e.g. jackets and vests, please measure your own chest circumference in cm and then divide it by 2. This is your German ready-made size. Example: If your chest circumference is 100cm, this corresponds to size 50/M. (Tip: If you want to wear a vest over a jacket, you must measure over that jacket.)

For all Outerwear like Jackets and Vests etc, Measure your Chest circumference in CM and divide it by 2. This is your German Size. For example if your Chest measures 100cm then your German Size is 50/M. (Hint: If you want to wear a West on the Top of a Jacket then you will have to measure above that Jacket)

How do I find my size for textile jackets?
Please measure your chest circumference and add 20 cm to it. Example: If your chest circumference is 100 cm, calculate: 100 + 20 cm = 120 cm. So your size is 50/M. The value in the "extra" field describes how many additional centimeters of space you can gain.

Ball girth (shoe width)

The shoe width is the circumference at the ball. It is extremely important for the durability of the shoes and for foot health. We therefore recommend that you measure your ball girth before buying shoes. Determine the correct ball girth by placing a measuring tape at the widest point of the ball and measuring all the way around the foot.

Measuring shoe length and shoe width

A measuring tape is suitable for measuring the foot. With the correct scale facing down on the floor, the foot width can be measured by stepping on the measuring tape, bringing the beginning (0 cm) up to the top of the foot (instep), and reading the long end of the measuring tape – also placed upwards. The reading is the foot width and can be assigned to the correct category in the corresponding table. Ideally, an assistant should be present. The foot width is measured with the measuring tape at the widest point.
